1. This instrument is used for evaporating samples by distilling to separate the mixed solvents. This process concentrates the sample by heating it with a temperature-controlled bath and vacuum system to lower the boiling point of the solvent.
2. An LCD display displays temperature and rotation speed in numerical format, with a rotary knob.
